I wouldnt care for IPE if I had ERC or yew. But it needs to be backed with hickory. If you glue up some reflex, it would be wise to make it shorter that 72 for 28 draw, say 68. Tips has to be small...

Johnny IPE has SG 1.2 thats probably too much for any kind of bow unles you are brave enough to make it narrow, more narrow and so on....If you have ERC then you have all you need....
